Privacy Policy
Last updated:
We take privacy seriously and comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as well as relevant international data protection requirements. Informed Creativity is the operating brand of an Australian proprietary limited consultancy, and this policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can exercise your rights.
Information we collect
We collect personal information that you provide when requesting talent profiles, booking calls, or entering into an engagement. This may include names, roles, contact details, company information, and project requirements. We also collect work samples, CVs, and references from talent interested in joining our roster.
How we use information
- Matching your brief with the most suitable designers and developers.
- Preparing proposals, statements of work, and compliance documentation.
- Managing billing, payment, and taxation obligations.
- Improving our services through anonymised analytics and feedback.
Disclosure
We may share your information with contractors engaged on your project, professional advisors (legal, accounting, insurance), or government authorities where required by law. All contractors sign confidentiality agreements. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
International data transfers
Because our talent network spans multiple countries, project data may be accessed from outside Australia. We ensure equivalent privacy safeguards by using secure collaboration tools, encryption, access logging, and contractual obligations that mirror the APPs and GDPR principles.
Security
We maintain technical and organisational controls including MFA, data minimisation, secure password policies, and regular audits. In the unlikely event of a data breach that risks serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and Australian authorities in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing . We aim to respond within three business days. If you have privacy concerns, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
